The Lapoi inspired dress ( without the accessories) Contemporary Premium Duchess SatinLook 4 is my reinterpretation of the Lapoi, traditional attire of the Dusun Bundu from Ranau, also worn by Dusun Tinagas and Dusun Kimaragang. In the past, Lapoi was handwoven from natural fibers of banana and pineapple plants, carrying function and identity of these communities.
