Freeman Lok 自五歲起習琴，早期扎根於古典音樂，並於多個鋼琴賽事中屢獲殊榮。隨後，他赴英國劍橋大學深造，並於 2022 年以優異成績畢業。留英期間，Freeman 對爵士樂產生了濃厚興趣，並曾參與多場備受矚目的演出，包括為當時的威爾斯親王（現任英國國王查爾斯三世）表演。回港後，他迅速成為本地最活躍的年輕爵士鋼琴手之一，亦跨足流行樂界擔任演唱會琴手。
