Lungo La Dora Pastels Painting diptych it will cheer any morningI made this painting based on a recent plein air painting with oils. I wanted to recreate it with pastels to see how it would look. I have not used a photo reference, only my oil plein air painting as a reference. I've used complimentary colours and a wash with apple vodka, and when dried, used my pastel sticks to make the same impression of what I've felt when being outdoors painting with oils. I've added a bit more technicolour than what I've seen
