The chair has had several layers of paint over the years with a red colour coming through parts of the Danish blue colour that it's currently painted

This painting is very much in the style of the British painter of the same era

There are a few dents to the lid but otherwise good condition

The table stem has beautiful carved detailing including acanthus leaves

Some slight areas of paint loss to the bowl but nothing detrimental to the overall look and use of it

The frame is made of card and covered with tiny white conch shells. There are some smaller mother of pearl shells at the bottom which have suffered some loss on one side. The back of the frame has lost it's stand but is perfect for leaning up on a shelf or mantle or against a mirror as I've shown it here. Measurements are 19cm H x 13cm W. The framed postcard is not included.
