'Out of Africa' | F. Barker & Son Military Compass c.1904 German weapons Full of useful information andF. Barker & Son Mk IV Verner's military prismatic compass, dating from c. 1904. The compass card is signed 'F. B & S., Makers, London, E. C.', and the Barker 'Trade Mark London' logo is stamped on the prism guard. There is also a number '33 04' inscribed inside the lid. It is very unusual to find a Barker Mk IV Verner's that has both the maker's mark on the card and the logo stamped on the case. This compass is almost identical to the one that
