Using traditional mulberry paper, this katagami stencil with a silk backing is decorated with a blooming cluster of camellias (tsubaki) and their smooth leaves. This antique Katagami was designed during the mid or late Edo period (1860) to early Meiji (1900) in Central Japan. It is
