A Fine Early 20thC Antique Loggerhead Turtle Shell sub-Antiques Containing one hundred and threeOrigin: Asian Period: Early Twentieth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1920 40 Length: 14 inches Width: 12. 5 inches (at widest point) The heart shaped carapace, probably from a relatively young male, having well defined segments (scutes) to the shell, and well formed skeletal ribs on the underside. The condition is superb with a beautiful glossy glow radiating from the shell and there are no areas of loss. There is a small hole present at the top
