Made of cast bronze. Cir. 1879. This doorknob is seen in the catalogue with both the Cambridge and Lexington design door plates. The doorknob measures 2 1 4"diam. This may have been the inside part of an exterior door set, as it takes an oversized shaft. The doorknob shaft opening is 3 8" square. This Russell and Erwin Cambridge Lexington
