Vina Falernia, Carmenere/Syrah Gran Reserva, 2021 (Case) Sangiovese with fine astringent notes ofAlmost opaque. Very intense and complex fruitiness with a forward, easy going, juicy style and plenty of black cherry and blueberry fruit. No hard edges. Upfront, juicy and fruit driven but still precise and with balance. Amarone and red berry chocolate fruit on the finish. Like the Carmenere Reserva, the Carmenere fruit for this wine is partially dried prior to vinfication.
