Made of mixed woods the table features a decorative inlaid top with a ship design reminiscent of pieces made by Trinity House lighthouse keepers. The top lifts open to reveal a later velvet lining and to the front a small partitioned drawer offers storage space for tools or stationery. The drawer is pencil signed to the underside with the name and date 'H. C. Larsen, 1911' The table is
