Bakku Vase, Medio Festoon explores the playfulness of formDerived from the Japanese word for 'bag', the Bakku vase embodies both a distinctive and fluid form reminiscent of a softly collapsing sack. Natural, organic curves express individuality, while the earthy smoked forest colouring creates a depth. Evolving through a meticulous process, the glass is first heated to 1000C before being placed into its custom mould. Careful mouth blowing then takes place before it is removed and tempered in an oven.
