Antique French Ribbonwork Embellishment - Ombre Ribbon Roses and Leaves french boudoir Measuring 9-1/2" long x aboutDating to the early 1900s to 1920s, may I offer this Art Deco French ribbonwork piece that came from the top of a ladies brush. From a non smoking pet free home, the fabric piece starts with a gilt metallic lace, blue grey cotton lace and then is embellished with French Ribbon florals. The two flowers are are colored mauve and grey both have yellow "sugar pip" stamens. The leaves are of ombre green and the background ribbon bow is mauve cream ombre.
