Podere Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo DOCG, Italy 2019 Lambrusco Grown in clay and slateOutlined as a wine with serious ageing potential by Jancis Robinson, Manzonis 2019 Barolo is a ruby red pleasure. Its concentrated nose displays a perfect balance of sweet and savoury notes, and the supple palate shows ripe fruit with hints of sweet spice. The finish is characterised by generous black cherry and slight tannins. Ready now but age for a real treat.
