Representing the animals of the zodiac, this bell is in the shape of a humble snake. It is mostly white with gold accents and blocks of black kanji characters on each side. It has a small white clay ball inside and has a red and white cord tied at the top via a loop. Dorei bells have a long history and have been used in festivals and ceremonies since the Jomon period
