I believe this necklace is a marriage of two pieces with the chain slightly predating the pendant but they match perfectly so it has been kept as is

Due to the busy design of the buckle the damage is not noticeable and the buckle remains in good antique condition

The envelope features a hooked side with a bale attached and fastens securely with a satisfying click

The brooch tests as 9ct gold except for the inside frame of the locket which is a gold plated base metal. The brooch features a secure hook 'C' clasp.
