2015 D’Angelico EXL-1 with upgrades Johnny Smith Yamano Martin's groundbreaking Retro Series representsThis beautiful Korean made D'Angelico EXL 1 started it's life as an EXL 1A around 2016. We recently modified it to EXL 1 specs. The floating Johnny Smith mini humbucker was sourced directly from Seymour Duncan and it's replacement pickguard sourced directly from D'Angelico. The volume and tone pots are the hard to find mini CTS, and the capacitor is the highly regarded Sozo type and the tone knobs are Gibson (see pics). The stock piezo was eliminated
