It is coated with black lacquer with a brown lacquer accent on the front legs. It is a minimalist rectangular shape with no extra embellishments. There are two types of offering tables Maejyoku and Uwajyoku. Maejoku is placed in front of the Shumidan. It is used for 3 Gusoku (candle stand, flower vase, and incense burner).
