Inspired by the Catskill Mountains of New York, the design recalls a region where rolling ridges meet deep forests and where generations have gone to escape the city. In the 19th century the Catskills became famous through Washington Irvings Rip Van Winkle, later they were known as the Borscht Belt, a cultural hub for music, comedy, and summer retreats.
