It would be difficult if not impossible to achieve the same effect using modern-day digital technology

Each one requires many hours of computer retouching and enhancement to bring out the color and detail that underwater photography often lacks

They came about as a natural extension

I'm exploring the sensual shapes both have in common by layering different images in post production. With one exception, all the pictures in this portfolio are the digital equivalent of double exposures, combined in Photoshop.
