Ocotillo Edition:#8 Pulled from my travel sketchbookThe strangest plant I've ever seen. On that same camping trip as the Yucca print describes, I sketched a handful of ocotillo's. With their heavily textured appearance it can be difficult to know how much detail to include and how much to leave out in order to portray the right image. Using a rocking motion with the carving tool I was able to give it texture and life. Note: Edition #6 and #8 are sold framed in a 6"x6" white wood frame.
