The restaurant was located in Bethlehem, PA and was owned by a Sicilian immigrant. The owner had planted two Sicilian fig trees in the restaurants garden, and the trees continued to thrive long after the establishment had closed its doors. Thats when a local fig grower from Trees of Joy stumbled upon this gem and began to propagate Pane e Vino
