Gamay is a light, fruity red grape best known from Beaujolais, giving bright, low tannin wines bursting with red cherry and raspberry. It's from Beaujolais, the cheerful region just south of Burgundy that's all about juicy Gamay. It's light enough for salmon and poultry, and happy with a gentle chill on a warm day.
