This oil painting by Slater is unusual in that it is inscribed by the artist on the front of the painting bottom left with the title and the date 15th April 1903

In addition there are some field sketches/notes and a series of smaller paintings intended for exotic limited editions of life size Royal Worcester porcelain models

The painting is sold with the original bill of sale and documents dated 30th July 1958
