Description

The artist Robert Tanenbaum painted this artwork in 1974 having been issued by 20th Century Fox studio several photos of Susan George from a particular scene which he used as it was unique to have the full body photo for the artwork

Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew Ltd Nottingham with the printed signature of the artist R

The printed signature of artist Jack Davis features on this British quad film poster for "Inspector Clouseau"

revolving around a letter from Moscow to Washington proposing the annihilation of Red China

It was common in the 50's for black and white films to feature full colour artwork on the film posters and this was never a problem with the cinema going public

The Prize dir Mike Newell The artist Robert Tanenbaum paintedWe like this sixties artwork which is reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock (not entirely surprising as Screenwriter Ernest Lehman also wrote Hitchcock's classic chase picture North by North West). This poster has tape marks to the borders and a 1" piece of paper loss at the bottom border which does not affect text or artwork. The colours are bright and strong. Pinholes in the corners.
