The palate is incredibly pure and elegant with outstanding balance and a reprise of the nectarine fruit
Perfectly balanced and fresh the palate has layers of nectarine
This wine really clamps down on the palate and won’t let go
This traditional method is called Kijoshu but because the brewery didn’t apply to be part of the Kijoshu society
30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot
Te Mata 2021 Awatea Red Blend, Hawke's Bay August The palate is incredibly pureI have to admit, this red wine really surprised to the upside. I expected it, like any wine from Te Mata, to be very strong in its category, but it I want prepared for how good it is especially at this price point. I mean, you cant buy Cabernet based CA for WA or Bordeaux wines anywhere near this good at anywhere near this price. The beautiful nose reminds me of 1980s era young California Cabernet Sauvignon as in Mayacamas, Spottswoode, Chateau
