A clever film where the viewer is inclined to feel sympathy to the house keeper despite her devilish behaviour

Shown at the Bristol Road Cinema in Birmingham on 26th July 1972 on the largest screen (this cinema re-opened with 3 screens on this day following alterations to change from a single screen large cinema difficult to fill to three smaller screens offering a wider choice)

Witness Harrison Ford This delightful 1950 British QuadLukas Haas plays the part of a young witness to murder. Peter Weir directs superbly and reveals the juxtaposition of the Amish community of which the boy is a member and the city dwellers. Two slightly different layouts for this poster interestingly this one being the more difficult to find central version.
