Hyde No. 5 The Aras Cask Sweet Bourbon TASTING NOTES FROM THE CHIEFHyde No. 5 is a triple distilled, pure grain, Irish whiskey. Originally distilled in a traditional coffey Copper Colum still, from pure Corn (maize) grain. It is made in small batches. Hyde No. 5 Burgundy finish is matured in US ex bourbon casks for 6 years and then is finished in French Ex Burgundy red wine oak casks from the Cte dOr for a further 9 months. This leads to a wonderfully ruby red colour in the Hyde No. 5 Single Grain.
