The Day of the Locust Ringo Starr This 1971 American one sheet1975 was very much the year for stylish airbrush artwork and this was a theme to continue throughout the decade. Karen Black gets the treatment here as the Hollywood starlet in this film adapted from Nathanael West's novel about tinsel town. This is a really interesting film poster as the cinema manager has decided in his wisdom to superimpose artwork from "Logan's Run" (which actually came out a year later) to replace what was just a boring title
