Frederick Coate Wade came to the Yukon in 1897 as a barrister. He was the Crown Prosecutor, Clerk of the Court, Dominion Lands General Registrar and as a member of the British Consul took part in the 1903 Alaska Boundary Tribunal. He owned wholly or in part, mining claims, a restaurant, a saloon and a number of residential properties. There is evidence that he was in Dawson at least until 1911. He was
