The new straps are grippier and easier to tighten. Tight straps are key to a stable top tube bag, and these new straps require less finger strength than our old hook and loop ones to achieve stability. Every new Alamo and Catalina comes with the new straps, but if you've ordered a bag in the past you can upgrade at a discounted price through March 31st, 2026
