Fire at St. Mary's Hospital, January 10, 1950. Living Conditions; Routes to the Klondike Extremely faded image of mountainsThis is part of a series of photos showing the burning of St. Mary's Hospital at the north end of town. The fire happened on January 10, 1950 and the temperature was 40C. (1998. 35. 33 to 1998. 35. 37) One of the nurses died in the fire. Everyone else was rescued.
