Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Peated The US Edition 2020 ole-smoky Distilled in a rare AlambicChichibu was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, and operational from 2008, it was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973. It is located at Chichibu, a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Only 2,109 bottles of this exquisite peated single malt were produced at the Chichibu distillery in Japan. The whisky matured in a combination of ex bourbon, ex chibidaru, and sherry butts & hogsheads for 5 years before being bottled at 111 proof.
